Juri Kang



Whereever a human goes, a textile follows. 


Juri Kang is a textile designer and engineer deeply passionate about the role textiles play in shaping our world and the ways they can be integrated into existing spaces. She finds inspiration in how textiles have served as a medium of human communication and is curious to explore ways to achieve this through her practice. Her work bridges the traditional craft of textiles with innovative design, grounded in research, experimentation, and storytelling.



Currently, she is a student at the Rhode Island School of Design majoring in Textile Design with a concentration in Sustainability Studies. She has studied at Brown University(Biomedical Engineering), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) (Materials Engineering), University of the Arts London : London College of Fashion (Fashion Product Design), and DIS (Danish Furniture Design) .
